The Long Lunch tour is designed for those who want to truly settle into the region’s rhythm. This experience combines our world-class cool-climate wines with a multi-course vineyard lunch, offering you the time to indulge in the flavours and stories of the Canberra wine scene.

Guided Discovery: Explore the region with a WSET Level 3 certified expert. We share ‘insider’ knowledge and often provide the chance to speak directly with owners and winemakers, making your day both an education and an escape.

The Details

  • Availability: Usually available Thursday – Sunday.

  • Departure: Your choice of location around 10:00am (Note: Weekend departures may be earlier).

  • Exclusivity: All tours are strictly private small groups. We never mix different bookings together.

  • Group Size: Minimum of 2 guests (see below for groups of 6+).

  • Custom Itinerary: Visits to three celebrated, award-winning Canberra wineries.

  • 3-Course Restaurant Lunch: A premium vineyard dining experience (Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-Free options available).

  • All-Inclusive: Your tour price covers all wine tasting fees, your multi-course lunch, and wine to accompany your meal.

  • Door-to-Door Service: Pickup and drop-off at your preferred Canberra location.

  • Guided Discovery: Your friendly, professional, and “wine-obsessed” WSET Level 3 guide.

Sample Itinerary

This is an example only. We customise every itinerary based on your wine preferences, lunch venue availability (such as Shaw Estate, Brindabella Hills, Grazing, Nick O’Leary, or Poachers Pantry), and our expert knowledge of what is drinking well right now.

  • 10:00am: Pick up from your choice of location.

  • 10:30am: The Vintner’s Daughter – An intimate tasting of boutique, handcrafted wines.

  • 11:30am: Clonakilla – Tasting of iconic, award-winning cool-climate vintages.

  • 12:30pm: Shaw Estate – Wine tasting followed by a multi-course lunch with wine.

  • 4:00pm: Arrive back in Canberra.

  • Minimum 2 Guests: $400 per person

  • 3 Guests: $375 per person

  • 4–5 Guests: $350 per person

Note: Out of respect for the wineries and their guests, we do not accept bookings for hens or bucks parties. Please contact us if you would like to discuss a special event before booking.

Payment & Cancellations

We accept secure card payments through our online system. You have two ways to secure your date:

1.Pay in full at the time of booking.

2.Pay a $200 deposit, with the remaining balance due 2 weeks before your tour.
